Freezone Volleyball along with VNSW will be the supporting partners for this social volleyball tournament in celebration of Sydney Mardi Gras 2026.  

This will be a two day event running across both Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of February 2026.

Proudly hosted & supported by the Freezone Volleyball Club. The event will feature a guest drag hostess, DJ music on court and other activities. Teams are encouraged to come dressed in their best and most colourful outfits. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed teams and more.

The event will run over 2 days:

  • Day 1: Saturday, 10 am to 6pm – Men's and women's competition round robin and finals games.

  • Day 2: Sunday, 10am to 6pm – Mixed competition round robin and finals games.

The number of teams we can accommodate is limited, and divisions will be determined closer to the tournament start date. You can enter a team for men’s, mixed or women’s divisions (final divisions depend on registrations received). Round robin games to be umpired by duty teams. Umpires will be provided for all finals games.

Fees

The cost of the registration will be $290 per team. Places are limited and will be on a first in, first serve basis.

Please include the details of your team, including the team’s name & club, preferred division, and level of competition you compete at. We will do our best to provide even divisions, but this depends on the overall registrations of the competition. Any players under 18 will need approval from a parent or guardian to participate.

Food and drinks

Food and drinks will not be provided at the event. There is a kiosk at the Centre where items can be purchased, including coffee. There is no alcohol allowed at the Centre.

Insurance

No injury insurance is provided. Participants play at their own risk. If you have any concerns about participating in the sport, please speak with your medical professional. All participants will be required to sign an enrolment form and waiver.
