Here are some details for this Saturdays 2025 Spring Fling Tournament; 

Key Details of the Tournament; 

1. 815am - Doors Open to venue.

2. 840am - Captains Meeting - court 3.

3. 850am - 9 Teams will play or Duty the first match - Please check the schedule.

    Failure to fulfill your referee duty may mean you are penalised 2 ranking points and/or you will lose your $150 team deposit.

4. Duty for teams may be on any of the courts 1, 2, 3 - Please read carefully.

5. 4pm -Semi Finals and Finals for Top 4 Teams in each Grade will play and winners progress to Gold / Silver game. No bronze medal games are scheduled. 

6. Teams will have a duty if they lose in the afternoon Semi Finals, so please stay in the stadium, and check the Tournify roster. 

The schedule will be available and updated via Tournify App, or website. See screenshots. You can search & filter by Team name to view Matches & Duty for your team - make it a favourite & you can get push notifications and reminders for your team to your phone.

• Warmup time is 10mins. Game play time is 45 mins.

• Teams will need to supply their own whistles and make sure you have a nominated 1st & 2nd referee, 2 lines people and scorer for duty.

• ALL teams will have 2 duty games in the day. PLEASE check the referees schedule carefully in Tournify App - filtered by Team name. 

• Match Balls will be supplied to each court – do NOT lose these.

• Fill out all scoresheets neatly, and CLEARLY write the winning team and scores at the bottom, with both captains to sign off the scores.

• Food & Drink the venue has a cafe that only sells cold/ hot drinks and snacks. The basketball stadium next door has a menu of hot and cold foods and drinks. There are several cafes within 10 mins walk. Uber Eats will deliver to the venue. There is no formal lunch break but there are 2 smaller breaks in the schedule. 1230 & 230pm. Teams are advised to bring food or snacks with them.
